SRIVARI ANNUAL BRAHMOTSAVAMS COMMENCE ON A CEREMONIOUS NOTE WITH DHWAJAROHANAM

Tirumala, September 15, 2026: The annual Brahmotsavams of Sri Venkateswara Swamy commenced on a grand and ceremonious note with the traditional Dhwajarohanam, the sacred flag-hoisting ceremony, at the Srivari temple in Tirumala on Tuesday evening.

The ritual was performed in accordance with the Vaikhanasa Agama during the auspicious Meena Lagnam, from 6:21 p.m. to 6:35 p.m.

Earlier, the Dhwajarohanam festivities began with a grand procession of Sri Malayappa Swamy, accompanied by His consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi, on the Golden Tiruchi. 

The procession was accompanied by the Parivara Devatas.

The Dhwaja Patam, bearing the image of Garudalwar, was brought into the temple and offered special pujas. This was followed by Asthanam for
